Canceling your account

How to cancel your subscription, download your data, and what happens to your account afterward.

Canceling your CaliforniaCourtIntel subscription is straightforward and takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

To cancel, go to Settings, then Billing, then Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts. You will be asked for a brief reason, which is optional. Your account will remain active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

After your billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier, not deleted. You will retain access to your dashboard, saved judges up to the Free tier limit, and any observations you have submitted.

If you want to export your data before canceling, go to Settings, then Data Export and click Request Data Export. You will receive a ZIP file within 24 hours containing your data in JSON format.

To fully delete your account, contact privacy@californiacourtintel.com. If you are canceling because of a specific problem, email support@californiacourtintel.com first, as many issues can be resolved quickly.
